hey there, I’m Kayleigh!
The creative behind Banana Press Design.Co
I’m a Los Angeles based graphic designer, originally from the picturesque
Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, where my love of Art and Design began.
I moved to San Diego, California at the start of 2014, and spent a very fun 3 years studying art & design before eventually taking the adventure to Los Angeles in 2017
to attend Otis College of Art and Design.
The start of my LA adventure was a little rocky, Otis ended up not being the right fit for me, I ended up leaving my second semester and bartending full-time. I might have left school, but my passion for design was still there, a bar patron connected me to my very first design job on an in-house marketing team.
The next 3 years I created an array of digital and print marketing assets, designing artwork for packaging, and working on branding. This led to a whole lot of technical skill and an insatiable desire for artistic freedom, thus the creation of my own brand and small business Banana Press Design.Co
My mission with Banana Press is to create and sell quirky fun, light-hearted products inspired by food & beverage that connect to other humans who feel the same joy I do about silly things like hot dog stickers.
I’m also deeply passionate about empowering small brands and businesses with professional branding and marketing assets that truly resonate with their target audience. Nothing brings me more joy than designing a beer label for a small hometown brewery, illustrating custom stickers for freelance photographers, or designing a brand identity for a small local general contractor.
Ultimately branding and marketing plays a huge role in the success of your business, and I want to help as many small businesses to succeed as I can!
